Author Presents in Sinclairville     


      Michelle Knudsen visited Sinclairville Elementary.  This program was sponsored by the Sinclairville Free Library with assistance from the Sinclairville Elementary School and Sinclairville Parents Organization.  The program was made possible by a NYS Special Legislative Grant through New York State Senator Patricia K. McGee’s office.

Ms. Knudsen's titles include: Love, Valentine’s Day. Happy Halloween, Merry Christmas, Princess Party, Autumn Is For Apples, Winter Is For Snowflakes, The Case of Vampire Vivian and A Slimy Story.

      Ms. Knudsen began writing poems when she was little.  In high school and college she wrote short stories and never thought about writing children’s books until she was hired as an editorial assistant for the children’s division of Random House. 

       She wrote “in house” as part of her job and began writing and submitting her own manuscripts.  Ms. Knudsen has been a part-time librarian and continues to edit the Junie B. Jones  series by Barbara Park on a free lance basis.



Ms. Knudsen read her books to children and families at Family Night.
