Large Print Books

Large print books are printed in 17 point type for readers who can no longer see the traditional 8-10 point print clearly. The CCLS Outreach Department has a wide selection of more than 6,000 popular titles in Large Print format, including: westerns, romances, mysteries, adventure stories, self-help health guides, cookbooks, travelogs, and biographies, etc... This collection is circulated via the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System and deposits to nursing homes, retirement complexes and member libraries. Specific titles may be searched on the System Catalog and requested through Interlibrary Loan.
