Meeting
1st and 3rd Friday evenings at 8 PM- Clarks Corner's Church
All are Welcome

FAMILY
- Grange is
very family oriented, with many fun times for the whole family. We have
contests in Baking, Needlework, Crafts, Art, Photography etc.
Some open to non-members. We also have a sports program featuring dart
ball
on local and State
levels.

COMMUNITY
- We do many
community projects such as - Food Kitchen, Joint Neighborhood Project, Falconer
School Prom and Vigil, Kennedy Free Library, Kennedy Pride Group, Church, Youth,
Helping Hand, and many others. Each year we give a non- member Community
Service Award, Last year going to the Kennedy Fire Dept. We also gave a
Fire Fighters Award through the State Grange. This recognition went to
Wendy Pardue. Members volunteer at various things such as School Projects,
Nursing Homes, Church, Reading Programs, and helping Shut - Ins.
We also have a fair booth at the Chautauqua County Fair.

AGRICULTURE
- Grange was
basically formed to help hold the young rural
families and the farmers together after the Civil War. Oliver Kelly and a
committee of six formed the first Grange Fredonia # 1 in Fredonia, N.Y. in
1867. Rural Free Delivery, Farm Credit Serves, the Extension Service, and
Better Schools were all largely do to Grange Lobbying. The goal today is
still the same. Concerns start at local level (Subordinate) go on to County
(Pomona) and after passing and refining go on to State and National levels, and
are presented to our elected officials in a unified voice
