Copier and Fax Machine

There is a fee of $.20 per one-sided page &
$.30 per two-sided page of regular copies.

We send faxes for a fee of $2.00 for the first page &
$1.00 for each additional page.

Patrons may also receive faxes at the library for a charge of $.50 per page.

We allow students doing research up to 5 FREE copies per day from reference materials.

 

Public Access Computers

DYP Library has several  computers for public use.

Each computer user must have a library card, must read and sign the computer use policy form, and minors may only use computers with a parent’s or guardian’s consent and signature. Patrons using a computer must leave their library card at the circulation desk while using a computer.

Printing from a computer is $.10 per page.

 

Internet Access
Older children and young adults will enjoy their time on one of our many computers. They may search the Internet while doing research and school projects.

WiFi Zone:
We also have Wireless Internet Access available throughout the building.
To use this service you must have a wireless card and a browser in your device
(Laptop, Handheld, etc.).
Access information is available at the Circulation Desk.
Unfortunately, Staff are not able to offer technical assistance
 with your connection or device.

Microfilm Reader and Reader-Printer

This machine is available for use with microfilm viewing.
We have a collection of some local-area newspapers on microfilm, dating back for 100 years or more. These may be of interest to persons working on genealogy or local history.
Printing from the Reader-Printer is $.10 per page.


InterLibrary Loan Requests

Patrons may request materials not currently available at our Library on Interlibrary Loan from another library in our system, or possibly another library system.
Specific information (title, author, edition, etc.) will help staff to fill requests more efficiently.
Expect a wait of one to two weeks, sometimes less, depending upon the individual request.

Use of Outside Book Drop

 The book drop located in our entryway is for BOOKS ONLY!
Magazines, videos, books on cassette tapes or CD’s, DVDs, puzzles,
or other media must be returned inside to the circulation desk
during regular library hours.

Anderson Community Room

 The Anderson Community Room is available for meetings of non-profit organizations. Copies of the Room-Use Policy and applications to reserve a date and time to use the room are available at the Circulation Desk.
A $50 deposit (check made out to Delevan-Yorkshire Public Library) is required.
If the room is clean and in good order at the end of your meeting, your check will be returned to you.

The Anderson Room is also used for special library programs, such as Story Times, the Summer Reading Program, Concerts, and Craft Classes.
