2009 Family Fun Basket

The Knowledge Seekers Society will hold a "Basket Drawing"
to benefit
Delevan-Yorkshire Public Library
(Last year’s proceeds were used to purchase Summer Reading Program supplies & materials, Summer Flower Barrels, and to provide a scholarship to a Pioneer Central graduating senior!)

Three Themed Baskets are currently
displayed in the Library.

 Tickets sell for $2 each or 3 for $5
(Available from KS members
or at the Library Circulation Desk)

The Drawing will be held
Thursday, Dec. 10^th

The Library will close at noon
on Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24
and reopen at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26.

The Library will close at noon
on New Year's Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31
and reopen at 9 a.m. on Sat, Jan. 2, 2010.

Preschool Story Program

 Held every Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m.
in the Family Resource Room
at Delevan Elementary School
(when school is in session)

From Sept. 29th, 2009 to May 25, 2010
       For children, ages 2 + up:
          age-appropriate stories & activities.
(Younger siblings welcome!)

The Library purchases
new DVD's with refund money
from redeemable Bottles & Cans.
Help us get some more. . .
Drop off your bottles and cans at
Can & Bottle Return, 106 Route 16, Delevan,
and tell them, "They're for the Library."

On-Going Events at DYPL:

Delevan-Yorkshire Public Library Board of Trustees Meeting
Third Wednesday of the month, 4 p.m., in the Anderson Room
(Next scheduled meeting is Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 4 p.m.)

The Library is a collection site for the Delevan Area Food Pantry.
 

Non-perishable items may be dropped off in the box in the foyer.

(The pantry is always in need
of tuna and peanut butter.)

G.E.D. (General Equivalency Diploma) Classes
operated by Cattaraugus-Allegany B.O.C.E.S.
