Introduction to Microsoft Office 2010 – Excel and Word
Mondays & Wednesdays  1:00-2:30pm
July 7, 9, 14, and 16

Learn an overview of both Microsoft Office 2010 Excel and Word in one class.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are must-have skills in today’s work force. If you are new to Microsoft Office or need to upgrade your skills, this is the perfect class. You will create spreadsheets and documents throughout the class that benefit you.  Introduction to Spreadsheets (Excel) You will learn to work with and analyze numbers using a spreadsheet.  You will create your own spreadsheets using formulas and formatting. You will learn to search, manage, calculate and use graphs in Microsoft Excel 2010.  Introduction to Word Processing (Microsoft Word). You will learn features of Microsoft Word 2010. Class includes editing and creating documents, formatting, cutting and pasting, tables, headers, footers and mailing labels.


3-D Printing Class
Wednesdays  1:00-2:30pm
July 2 OR 23

Prendergast Library will offer a new single-session Introduction to 3D printing.  Each session will contain information about the history, mechanics and applications of the expanding field of 3D printing.

Those attending will learn the fundamentals of object manipulation in MakerWare as well as printing on a Makerbot Replicator 2. There are no prerequisites for attendance, and registration is not required. Participants at all levels of technological ability are welcome.

Learn how to safeguard your children while they are online. (Located in the PCC Lab for this event.)


One-on-One Technology Assistance
Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays  1:00-4:00pm (by appointment only)

Do you need help with a new tablet, computer, or software?  Make an appointment for one-on-one assistance with one of our two Learning Lab technicians!  Our Learning Lab techs can help you with devices such as: Kindles, iPads, Nooks, Android/Apple products and many more.  We can also demonstrate the use of our 3D printer, as well as answer any question in detail. We ask that you leave information about the technology you require assistance with.
