Tentatively from Jamestown High School, we will be having “Belle” from Beauty & the Beast here Saturday, March 2. Specific details to come.

-Town of Carroll Community Surveys are still available at the library or you may complete one online at www.carrollplan.com This is open to anyone, not just Frewsburg/Town of Carroll residents.

Just a couple quick things.

1. We are having a special craft night next Monday, Jan 28 at 6:30 to make valentines for the Frewsburg Rest Home residents.  We have used the “love letter” card pattern from Pack-o-Fun/ Crafts ‘n Things for the last few years.  The pattern in this year’s issue is a “hoppy dat” frog. A sample is displayed in the library.  We hope you can come and help us make these.  In the past we have needed approximately 70 cards so we can really use your help.  All materials are supplied.

2. The Big Read this year is Jack London’s Call of the Wild. The Big Read is designed to encourage individuals and communities to read and discuss a literary book. Last year’s was works by Edgar Allen Poe.  Call of the Wild is the book for our February discussion which will be at 6:30 in the community room.  We have SEVERAL newspaper-format copies of the book so please stop by to pick up your copy to read and enjoy.
